Kinguin have secured an invite to DreamHack ZOWIE Open at DreamHack Winter after defeating Epsilon 2-0 in a last-minute qualifier (22-20 on Mirage and Cobblestone.
Following FaZe's withdrawal from DreamHack Winter due to a packed schedule, the organisers of the Swedish event decided to host a best-of-three clash between Kinguin and Epsilon, the losing semi-finalists of the closed qualifier, to determine who would replace Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team in the tournament.
Coming off a disappointing 9th-16th place at ESWC, Kinguin stepped up to the plate and gave a much better account of themselves, ultimately winning the series on two maps that went to overtime.

DreamHack ZOWIE Open at DreamHack Winter will run from November 24-27, in Jönköping, with eight teams battling it out for a share of a $100,000 prize pool. The list of participants for the event now comprises:
